Tile Fountain Restoration

Patt Conservation completed a conservation treatment of the Sentry Fountain for the City of Culver City following incidental damage to the tiled basin. Twelve detached tiles and edge pieces were stabilized and reinstalled, while broken tiles were repaired and areas of loss and cracking were filled and inpainted. Additional loose tiles were stabilized, mineral deposits and deteriorated materials were removed, and the treated areas were regrouted and sealed for continued outdoor exposure.
