Historic Society Window

In 2020, Patt Conservation was contracted to assess and conserve a 15' window set piece from the Orson Welles movie "The Magnificent Ambersons" (1942). Our studio documented, cleaned, consolidated paint, stabilized glass panes, and reconstructed missing glass elements. We designed and fabricated a backing and french cleat hanger to stabilize the artwork and install it.
